Invest in Recycling
**Grants to grow your recycling and reprocessing capacity**
Through our Invest in Recycling scheme, capital grants of up to £134,000 are once again being made available. Funded by the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA), the purpose of the grants is to accelerate investments into all types of waste recycling and reprocessing activities. The deadline for applying is 07 January 2008.

The South East of England manages 25 million tonnes of waste per annum most of which is sent to landfill. This figure is rising by 3% per year. Much material currently consigned as waste has a significant resource value which, coupled with resource efficiency measures, can be captured to benefit both the economy and environment.
Invest in Recycling is a focussed initiative managed by EnviroBusiness to assist businesses wishing to develop recycling and reprocessing enterprises in South East England. We do this by helping recycling businesses to secure grant funding and other business development support, by engaging with commercial investors and by enabling networking with potential business partners.
