The 2008 Invest in Recycling event took place on 1st October 2008.
As part of EnviroBusiness’ support of the environmental technology and services sector in the South East region of the UK, it held a seminar, in coordination with WRAP, NISP and Remade south East for companies in the waste management and recycling sector.
As well as aspects of the recycling market, Presentations covered funding opportunities, such as the Invest in Recycling capital grant scheme that is open for applications from mid September 2008. We also had presentations from commercial organisations, highlighting practical problems faced in their quest to develop ‘zero waste’ programmes.

Looking For Details On The Capital Grant?
Increase your recycling capacity with a grant for new equipment. The EnviroBusiness Invest in Recycling grant competition is open now. The competition is for capital grants for businesses to purchase equipment to create financial value from waste streams and divert material from landfill in the South East. The grants can cover up to 50% of the costs for new equipment up to a maximum grant value of £134,000.
