Grant Awards for your business PhD research
The Chemistry Innovation KTN has a number of Indistrial Case Awards available for businesses to apply for. These awards pay 75% of the costs for a PhD research to undertake research defined by you - the successful business applicant. The business only needs to pay the remaining 25%, currently around £7000 per annum for 3 years.
Project proposals should align with the Chemistry Innovation technical priority areas listed below:
• Innovation Leadership
• Sustainable Technologies
• Measurement Science and Technology
• Chemistry for Product Design
• Manufacturing Design
• Catalysis and Synthesis for Effect
• Modelling for Chemistry

Ofgem Report finds household microgeneration exports are fair value
A recent report from Ofgem has found that households wishing to export surplus electricity from microgeneration (solar PV, wind turbines etc), arebeing offered fair value for their exports. However, clearer information is required to allow households to compare deals.
